1. DO NOT CLEAN YOUR FACE MORE THAN 3 TIMES A DAY
Despite of normal skin or oiled-skin, women should not exceed the limit of 3 times per day. Washing too many times, with many facial milk wash, will “attack” the natural lining up of the epidermis on the skin surface. As a natural response, our body will form more oil to self-balance (a natural reaction of our anti-body). The result is that our skin will be even more oiled.
2. START BY WARM WATER AND FINISH BY COLD WATER
This is a simple but yet very effective to keep your skin healthy. First, warm water helps dilate pores. Warm water also wash all bacteria still remain on the skin. However, warm water sometime causes damage to the skin’s epidermis and skin’s elasticity which may lead to wrinkles and cracks.
Therefore, it is important to clean one more time with cold water. Cold water helps the pores returns to their normal shapes. Cold water also helps preventing “attacking” of new bacteria since warm surface has been a perfect environment for bacteria. Finishing by cold water also helps softening the skin and remain the moisture longer.
3. CLEANSER IS NOT AVOIDABLE
This is a very important step but, too often, being overlook. Many people often disregard this step because they believe their light-makeup can be cleaned thoroughly by water. However, this is so wrong. Many makeup products are oil-based. Therefore, water cannot remove them completely. Thus, a cleanser is necessary to clean your skin completely.
4. AVOID SCRUBBING YOUR FACE MANY TIMES WITH TOWELS
Many people believe that scrubbing the skin with towels will “wash” all the contaminants remain in the pores. However, this belief is so wrong. This belief may cause skin damage and irritation which leaving the skin more oily. One important thing to remember, only use towels before going the cleaning steps and after finish the cleaning.
5. HAVE 2 DIFFERENT FACIAL TYPES FOR MORNING AND NIGHT
Our skins are on 2 different stages in the morning and night. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to 2 different types of facial wash products. Light concentration for the morning, and a little more concentration for the night.
6. MASSAGE YOUR FACE IS NECESSARY
This is one of the factors for a firmer and shiner skin. As an exercise, massaging will prevent the forming of oil after the skin being cleaned. The skin will be firmer, and wrinkle will be faded. People who have applied this step tend to look younger than their really ages.
